A surgeon profile reply checklist
Use this when a new review lands and the safest public answer is a short, careful one.
Scan for PHI risk first
If the post names a patient, date of service or clinical detail, keep your reply free of any confirming facts.
Decide reply vs report
Report only when a published policy looks broken. Most clinical dissatisfaction posts need a calm invite offline, not a debate.
Draft three beats
Thank them, acknowledge concern without arguing the chart in public, and offer a practice phone or patient-experience contact.
Log and move on
Note the date, site and action. Patterns across directories matter more than any single star.
